**WHY DO WE KEEP KILLING ONE ANOTHER? πποΈ**
I have been trying to put this post together for the past few days, but my emotions have not allowed me to. Every time I come across this heartbreaking news on social media, I find myself quickly scrolling past because it hurts so deeply.
A young life was cut short after being shot and killed in the Bronx, New York. And I keep asking myself: **Why do we keep doing this to one another? Why do Black people kill other Black people? Why are we destroying ourselves?**
Whether we come from Africa, America, Europe, or anywhere else in the world, we are all human beings. We may have different skin colors, languages, cultures, and accents, but underneath it all, we are the same.
We all bleed the same red blood. We all feel pain. We all have families and people who love us. We were all created by the same God.
Our skin color should not divide us. Our backgrounds should not make us enemies. Our differences should not become reasons to hurt or take another person's life.
**Why can't we choose love over hatred? Why can't we choose kindness over violence, compassion over cruelty, and peace over destruction?**
Life is too precious and too short for us to keep hurting and killing one another. We should be lifting each other up, protecting one another, and creating a world where our children can live without fear.
I sincerely pray for the family, friends, and loved ones of Javits Frimpong. May God comfort them during this unimaginable pain, strengthen them, and give them the peace that only He can provide.
May his soul rest in perfect peace. Amen. π
**Let us do better as human beings. Let us choose love. Let us choose peace. Let us choose humanity.**
Peace and love, everyone. β€οΈποΈ
