From 6:00–8:00 PM, the Alicia Maxwell Project will keep the celebration rocking at the 2026 Salute to Cecil County Veterans with Fireworks.

Known throughout the Delmarva region for their energetic live performances, they'll provide the soundtrack as we celebrate America's 250th Birthday before our patriotic ceremony honoring Cecil County's veterans and the spectacular fireworks finale at dusk.

☀️ A Quick Heat Update for Friday's Event 🇺🇸

The 2026 Salute to Cecil County Veterans with Fireworks is still on, and we're looking forward to celebrating with everyone!

With hot temperatures expected, we're taking extra steps to help keep our guests comfortable.

❄️ Cooling Station – Located in the Crouch Pavilion (behind the playground)
🌳 Shade available throughout the park
🩺 EMS on site during the event

We encourage everyone to:
💧 Bring a refillable water bottle and stay hydrated.
🧢 Wear lightweight clothing and sunscreen.
👟 Take breaks in the shade or at the Cooling Station whenever needed.

If you'd like to help, we're also accepting donations of unopened bottled water or sports drinks for the event. If you're able to contribute, please send us a message or bring your donation to the event.
