What started as one pediatric cancer survivor's dream to help other children fighting cancer has grown into Riley's Warriors Inc., a 100% volunteer-run nonprofit dedicated to bringing smiles, comfort, and hope to pediatric cancer patients and their families.

Today, Riley is 18 years old and working tirelessly to make our first-ever Ultimate Tailgate Party Fundraiser a huge success....not for himself, but for the children and families who need support during some of the hardest days of their lives.

We're looking for businesses and community partners willing to stand beside these warriors. Your sponsorship will directly help us provide Smile Packs, Holiday Room Decorating Bags, Hospital Starter Packs, Christmas in July Gifts and year round support to children battling cancer in WNY.

I know there are no perfect words for a loss like this.

Our pediatric cancer community has lost one of the strongest, bravest young women we have ever known. Sophia Laborde fought Fibrolamellar Hepatocellular Carcinoma with incredible courage and determination for more than four years.

Sophia had a smile that could light up any room, a love for the Buffalo Sabres, and dreams of traveling the world. Through every challenge she faced, she showed strength, resilience, and grace that inspired so many.

Our hearts are broken as we mourn this tremendous loss. We send our deepest condolences to her parents, family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. Please keep them on your hearts during this difficult time.

Soph, your beautiful smile, your fighting spirit, and the joy you brought to others will never be forgotten. You will be missed more than words can express.

Today, on National Cancer Survivors Day, we celebrate the incredible strength, courage, and resilience of every cancer survivor.

At Riley's Warriors, we are especially proud of our founder, Riley, whose journey through pediatric cancer inspired a mission to bring hope and joy to children and families facing similar battles.

Today, we honor not only those who have survived but also the warriors who are still fighting every day, the families standing beside them, and the loved ones we hold in our hearts. Cancer changes lives forever, but it can never take away the strength, determination, and spirit of those who face it.

To every survivor, every fighter, and every family affected by cancer: we see you, we celebrate you, and we stand with you.
