Jesus, in compassion for people, wept over the city, but still told of its coming destruction. Love does not hide truth to save feelings - it speaks truth to save souls. Having His heart for people does not allow for holding back from sharing the whole counsel of God. It is not mean to speak truth, but merciful.

David Fisher and his wife Shelly came to Crossroads this Summer to minister in our services. I asked him to intentionally point people to the altar as we are working to encourage a culture of pursuing the presence of God. David came and preached an incredible message that was Holy Spirit led. Our congregation RESPONDED to the power of God, and we had such amazing feedback about his ministry that we’ve booked them for our Fall Conference in 2027. I’m grateful to God for the Fan Into Flame Ministries and David’s heart for the church. A VERY PRESENT HELP - After the feeding of the five thousand Jesus sent the disciples out in a boat to cross the sea (See Mark 6:45-52). At the same time, He went to the mountain to pray, and then something amazing occurs. The disciples are together in a boat, in a storm, and struggling tremendously - they were in trouble. Jesus, alone on the land, SAW THEM straining at rowing. But, it doesn't end there! Seeing them, He immediately CAME TO THEM and got in the boat with them. When He entered their situation, immediately the storm ceased. ARE YOU IN TROUBLE? He may seem distant, but He sees, and in a moment is able to be present and no storm, whether in the physical or spiritual realm, can stop Him. He is a PRESENT HELP. He is, with God, forever interceding for you even as He was for the disciples in their storm. Welcome His presence into your situation and He comes immediately. The storm will cease, if not the storm around you, the storm within you, and you will receive a peace, a strength, a courage, a confident assurance that is beyond human and beyond natural - His help is supernatural.

We have a few scattered dates in 2026 still open and are now scheduling services for 2027. Many are encountering God at altars in response to His Word and the moving of His Spirit. Souls are saved, the broken are healed, believers are renewed, and the church is being empowered by the Holy Spirit to live as bold witnesses of Christ in these last days. Prayerfully consider hosting us for weekend services, extended meetings, mid-weeks, and other ministry events (men's, missions, retreats, etc) - contact us today as we plan for 2027, or consider having us for one of the remaining 2026 openings. We love partnering with pastors to revive the church, restore the broken, raise disciples, and reach the harvest. Regarding Jesus' triumphal entry, Charles Spurgeon wrote, "It is a mark of Christ’s presence when the church becomes enthusiastic. We sometimes hear complaints about revivals being too exciting; perhaps the censure is deserved, but I would like to see a little of the fault. This age does not generally sin in the direction of being too excited concerning divine things. We have erred so long on the other side that, perhaps, a little excess in the direction of fervor might not be the worst of all calamities; at any rate, I would not fear to try it."
