Friends, Our Open Umbrella is working alongside community partners to support those affected by yesterday’s devastating fire in North Attleboro.

We will be collecting GIFT CARDS ONLY in denominations of $25 to help support clothing and other basic needs. Walmart, Target, grocery stores, pet stores, and other general retailers will be especially helpful for folks who have lost so much.

We will be collecting gift cards TOMORROW (5/13) from 9:30–11:30 AM at Lenore’s Pantry, 451 Elm Street, North Attleboro.

Gift cards will be distributed to affected families tomorrow through the resource center.

At this time, please do not donate clothing. To our knowledge, there was one student directly affected, and we will be providing support to that student this afternoon. At this moment, we are not aware of additional children or students in need of clothing support.

Pet food is also a need, and we are happy to accept gift cards that can help support pets as well.

As always, thank you for showing up for our community in moments that matter most. ❤️
