🍕 Slice Out Hunger Starts Tomorrow! 🍕

We’re kicking off our very first food drive — SLICE OUT HUNGER — to help support our community as we head into the colder months. ❄️

Starting tomorrow, we’ll be collecting non-perishable food items right here at The Slice Bar. Every time you drop off a donation, your name will go into a raffle to win a FREE PIZZA every week through Thanksgiving! 🍕🙌 All items will be donated to the local food cupboards.

We know winter brings new bills, higher costs, and extra things to worry about — that’s why we want to do our part to make things a little easier for local families. ❤️

Let’s come together, give back, and support our community ❤️

It's SPOOKY SEASON and that means it's almost time for the Norridgewock Community Trunk or Treat! We are in need of candy donations to ensure all host trunks are able to bring joy to each trick or treater.

If you are able to support us Donation Boxes can be found around town at the Town Office, Skowhegan Savings Bank, and Mill Stream Elementary School!

We appreciate your support and hope to see you on Saturday, 10/25 at 5:00p!

Saturday, September 20th was Mill Stream's Annual Apple Fest. Our wonderful 5th grade leadership team hosted carnival games for our youngest learners while PTG hosted the Scholastic Book Fair and provided loads of yummy treats! So much fun was had and our new Passports were a hit with the littles! Special thank you to Sandy River Apples of Mercer for the bushels of apples they donated for the festivities. We'll see you again next year!

Mill Stream students from Mrs. Dorr's, Mrs. Leeman's, and Mrs. Veilleux's 4th grade classes had a unique opportunity to explore Wabanaki Stories at the Waterville Opera House this morning.

This showcase of oral tradition, dance, drumming, and song engaged students from start to finish. Spreading a message of hope, kindness, love, environmental stewardship, and redemption.

Watching these traditional stories evolve into contemporary forms of music (rap and club) to modern interpretive dance was an unexpected twist that brought the house down!

Thank you to the MSES community that continues to support PTG fundraising so that our students are able to share these enrichment experiences. (This particular opportunity was selected to augment 4th Grade Maine Studies in Social Studies.)
