October's Fraud Awareness events in Somerset County were successful! All who attended - including law enforcement - agreed that they learned a lot and are better armored against fraud criminals. Thank you to SEDC's Scarlett DeShong and Representative Liz Caruso for creating the presentation and making this happen.

We extend a HUGE thank you to Skowhegan Police Department, Somerset County Sheriff's Office, Pittsfield Police Department - Maine, Fairfield Police Department - Maine for hosting these events AND for ALL THEY DO to help protect their residents before and after a crime has occurred.

Most importantly, this Fraud Awareness pilot program would have not been possible without our wonderful partnership with AARP Maine. Thank you to Jane, Pam, Grace, and Alf for the enjoyable working relationship in coordinating publicity efforts and merging our presentations to create a unique Somerset pilot program.

Stay tuned for future events... and yes, we will bring our presentation to GROUPS upon request. We are also working to create an online, on-demand workshop as well!
