Open Positions include:
EAC Sustainability and Monitoring Intern: The EAC Sustainability and Monitoring intern will work independently on monitoring projects (e.g., chloride monitoring of local waterways) and collaborate with staff to develop social media content, newsletter articles, marketing materials, reports, and literature reviews across environmental program areas. Responsibilities are varied and may shift based on program needs. Interested candidates should have completed a minimum of one year of undergraduate work and have an interest or background in environmental science/studies. Preferred skills include strong written communication, organization, and the ability to synthesize information for public audiences.
EAC GIS Intern: The EAC GIS Intern will support mapping and spatial analysis projects across multiple program areas, contributing to both planning and reporting efforts. The GIS Intern will create and edit datasets and produce high-quality maps for reports, presentations, and internal uses. The intern may also help integrate field-collected data into usable data for mapping projects. The intern will work with program staff but should be a self starter. Qualified candidates need to have completed a minimum of two mapping courses, will have a working knowledge of ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online, and familiarity with Story Maps and Dashboards. Applicants should have a basic understanding of spatial data concepts and cartographic principles, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
