Through the Illinois Works Preappreticeship program at YouthBuild participants are learning new skills and building toward a career in the trades. Special thanks to the unions that were present at our career fair and to the Bricklayers Local 8 for the on site demonstration and hands on training.

Each day and each week we have the opportunity to start fresh. That is exactly what YouthBuild offers to students that previously struggled with traditional education pathways....a fresh start and a chance to rewrite their story and build their preferred future.

We love being a part of an event that supports so many families in our community!!

For a decade, the West Bloomington Revitalization Project’s Bed Blitz Program has been building beds for local children, many of whom previously had no bed to call their own.

Did you know Oct. 8th is Donor Advised Fund (DAF) Day? We want to take a moment to express our deep gratitude for every donor who partners with us to change lives!
When you direct your DAF grant to YouthBuild McLean County, you do more than fund a program, you fund high school diplomas, hands-on trade training, mentorship, and a second chance for youth who are ready to work for their success.

Thank you for making our 2nd Annual Building Futures Breakfast unforgettable! 🥞🧡✨

To everyone who joined us, supported us, and believed in our students, THANK YOU! A special shoutout to our incredible local sponsors and community partners who made this morning possible. EVERY dollar raised goes straight into programming that helps young people transform their lives through education, leadership, and vocational training.

We are still stretching toward our goal of $40,000 to ensure EVERY student is able to build their preferred future. If you weren't able to attend or want to help us cross the finish line, you can still make an impact!
