Thank you to everyone who came out to the Parke Regency for our 20 Stars For LIFE Event! This past Thursday, July 21, was a huge success thanks to our 20 Stars, all of our sponsors, and the individuals in the community who contribute to our foundation! Because of everyone's hard work we were able to raise over $75,000 to help kids stay in school! If you want to support Stay4 and kids staying in school, you can donate to one of our 20 Stars by clicking here: https://www.stay4.org/20-stars-donations-2022. We are so grateful for all the support and contributions that have helped us change many kids' lives! Here are a few pictures from the Limited Magazine of last Thursday evening. Congratulations to Don Williams of Bloomington, February winner of the "Stay 4" Project's 'Take A Moment' campaign, recognizing individuals for their positive impact on others and the community.

Don was nominated by Randy Henkels.

"Don has helped me through my cancer surgery and treatment and took the time to take me to Champaign and Peoria as needed. He is always available for family and friends who might need something. He cleans and blows driveways for neighbors, especially those that are elderly and in need. He doesn't want and refuses remuneration for any of his efforts. I've never known a nicer more helpful man than Don. He never refuses a favor from anyone in need.”

Don's efforts are being recognized on WJBC Radio's morning show this week.

On January 10, the Great Plains LIFE Foundation, in conjunction with WJBC Radio, launched ‘Take A Moment’. This program will give the people of McLean County an opportunity to show their gratitude to those everyday heroes that make a difference in our lives and in others’ every day. We will be highlighting our business sponsors the second week of every month through October, and we will conclude the program with a celebratory breakfast event recognizing our monthly award recipients.

For more information about the program, listen to our initial broadcast on WJBC through the link below. You can also visit our website (stay4.org) to see the nomination form, a listing of our monthly sponsors, and the submission rules.

Thank you for your support of the “Stay 4” Project and the important difference it is making in the lives of young people.
