Jessamine County FFA Jessamine County FFA provides extracurricular and academic opportunities for students from West Jessamine and East Jessamine High Schools.

With its home at the Jessamine Career and Technology Center, the Jessamine County FFA promotes the personal and professional growth of agriculture students through Career Development Events, Supervised Agriculture Experiences, and classroom instruction.

Big things are happening in Jessamine County agriculture!
The Jessamine County FFA and the agriculture department at JCTC are excited to announce a new partnership with Kentucky State University (KSU) to raise turkeys this fall!

KSU has provided the birds and supplies, while our students will have the opportunity to care for and raise them through early November. This project will give our agriculture students and FFA members valuable, hands-on experience in animal care and management.

Once the birds are ready, our students will also have the opportunity to participate in processing at KSU’s processing facility. The turkeys will be available for purchase in early November, with all proceeds going back to the JCTC agriculture department to support future projects and opportunities for our students.

We are incredibly excited for this opportunity to partner with Kentucky State University and provide our students with meaningful, real-world agricultural experiences that extend far beyond the classroom.
