Dear God, Please bless these words. When I meet Jesus I want to be out of breath because I was busy here doing His work when He called me to Heaven. "We are not here to survive the earth and one day enjoy Heaven. We're here to demonstrate Heaven and transform the earth." I do not know who said this, but I totally agree with
this quote. I've been in many deep villages in Uganda, Kenya, and Rwanda over the past 4 years. I know what it's like here very well. Polygamy is this culture. One man has 6+ wives, 30+ kids. Man dies with hiv/aids, widows and kids are on these streets. Widows die with hiv/aids, orphans are sick on these streets. We need to teach the women a trade such as making crafts and then market their products so they can feed their families. We need to build clean, well staffed, Christian orphanages to give these babies a future. Witchcraft is this culture. The devil works 24/7 spreading his evil. My God is stronger and if we worked half as hard as the devil does, this earth would already be transformed for Jesus. Look around.. we're letting the devil win. Every person needs to have their own Bible. Hundreds of people in a village.. and maybe 10 worn out King James paperback Bibles. God's Word is cherished here. We need to build Christian churches and preach hell is still hot, Heaven is still real, sin is still wrong, the Bible is God's Word and Jesus is the Way of Salvation. AMEN!!! Children of all ages beg to go to school. They need school fees. No fees, no education. An uneducated village girl will fast become one of 6+ wives with 6+ kids and a widow with hiv/aids. We need to build Christian schools staffed with qualified teachers. Wells and boreholes need to be dug. If you could see the people here of all ages, including toddlers, drinking this brown muddy water filled with animal/human waste, insects, etc. straight from these streams, you would shut your eyes and turn away real quick! I have been in refugee camps. Hear my words very well..they need HELP in every way possible NOW. Refugee camps are the worst for diseases of all kinds. We need to build Christian clinics that provide free hiv/aids, malaria, typhoid, deworming treatments. This is all true, I promise. I know because I'm here and we need to help these beautiful people now because if we don't they will die way too young and without knowing who Jesus is. All we need to do is pray and obey. Ask God how you can help and then do it. Thank you and God bless you
I believe God has placed me here for such a time as this. I believe God called me here to Africa to show Jesus' love and compassion to these hurting lost people. I have been here over four years now, have started a ministry to fulfill the mission God has called me to. I now have an organization with leaders and staff both in Africa and in my hometown of Lexington/Nicholasville, KY.
