π THANK YOU, MEMORIAL COMMUNITY! π
What a fantastic Playground Party! As we wrap up our final event for the school year, we want to take a moment to thank the incredible people, businesses, organizations, and volunteers who helped make this celebration possible.
πͺ Thank You to Olsen Brothers Construction & Studios2Go
A huge thank you to Olsen Brothers Construction for sponsoring the carnival games and to Mike from Studios2Go for making it all happen! The games were a huge hit with families all evening, and we are so grateful for your generosity, flexibility, and all the work that went into setting everything up so our students and families could enjoy them.
π Thank You to Gametime Lanes & Acio's
Thank you to Gametime Lanes in Amesbury for generously donating 14 pizzas for the event! Your donation helped feed many of the families who joined us for the celebration.
And thank you to Acio's for your ability to quickly fill additional pizza orders when we unexpectedly ran short. We appreciate your responsiveness and willingness to help us ensure everyone was fed and able to enjoy the evening!
π¨ Thank You to Our NJHS Volunteers
Thank you to the National Junior Honor Society students who helped run the concession stand, sell raffle tickets, manage face painting, and keep the games running smoothly throughout the evening. Your help was appreciated more than you know!
π« Thank You to Eric Larcomb & Jay Trafton
Thank you for taking the time to provide tours of Memorial School to our incoming Grade 3 families. What may seem like a small gesture makes a huge difference for students and families preparing for a new school experience, and we know it was greatly appreciated.
π₯€ Thank You to Our Concession Stand Donors
Thank you to everyone who donated food, drinks, snacks, desserts, and supplies. Many of you have stocked our concession stand all year long, and your continued support has helped make so many PTO events possible.
ππ Thank You to the Newton & Kingston Police and Fire Departments
Thank you for donating Ride to School experiences for four lucky winners! We have a feeling school drop-off is going to be extra exciting on Friday!
ποΈ Thank You to Our Classroom Basket Coordinators & Families
A huge thank you to the families from Mrs. Markley's, Ms. Walsh's, Ms. Caron's, Ms. Houle's, Ms. MacEachern's, Ms. Hannon's, Ms. Holmes', Mrs. Doucette's, and Mr. LaPorte's classrooms for creating such incredible raffle baskets. So much planning, creativity, coordination, and generosity went into these prizes, and it showed.
π Thank You to Our Business Donors & Community Partners
Thank you to For The Party Co., FunSpot, Paint Party, Brookvale Mercantile, Water Street Bookstore, Port City Pretzels, The Common Man, Copper Door, Southwick's Zoo, Boston Swan Boats, East Coast Lumber, Story Land, Sebago Trails Paddling Co., Seacoast Climb, Maine Mariners Hockey, and Kona Ice for supporting our students and families through donations, experiences, and products. We hope our Memorial community will support these businesses and show them the same generosity they have shown our students.
A special thank you to Kona Ice for coming out to the Playground Party. It was a warm evening, and a cool treat was the perfect way for students and families to enjoy the event. Judging by the line all night long, we'd say Kona Ice was a big hit! π§π
π And finally... thank you to the Memorial Community.
We were absolutely blown away by the turnout. Seeing so many families come together to celebrate the end of a school year filled with learning, growth, hard work, accomplishments, friendships, and memorable experiences was truly something special.
As we reflect on this school year, it's impossible not to appreciate the incredible number of people who stepped forward to make things happen for our students. From assemblies and field trips to family events, special celebrations, enrichment opportunities, and community-building experiences, so much of what our students enjoyed this year happened because parents, volunteers, staff members, community organizations, and local businesses were willing to give their time, talents, resources, and support.
Many of those contributions happened behind the scenes and without recognition, but they helped create memories and opportunities our students will carry with them long after this school year ends. For that, we are incredibly grateful.
Thank you for helping make this such a memorable year for Memorial students. ππ¦
