Looking back at these beautiful moments from last year’s Pride events reminds us how powerful music can be. It has the power to bring people together and create joy, and all while making space for everyone to be fully themselves.

🎶 Sing me away... 🎶

For a few hours, let yourself be sung away from the ordinary and into something joyful, uplifting, and deeply human.

On Sunday, May 31st, enjoy laughter, connection, and the feeling of being part of something bigger than yourself at the 2nd Annual Newport Sings Fundraiser, Sing Me a Song. 💜

When? Sunday, May 31 from 5:30 - 7:30 pm
Where? Common Fence Point Arts, Wellness and Community Center

All proceeds will support 2026 - 2027 Newport Sings programs. The event includes performances by members of our ensembles in solo, duet, and small group "acts." It is a wonderful way to showcase the incredible voices in our community!

Newport Sings is more than a choir community. Newport Sings is a place where people find friendship, belonging, courage, healing, and joy through music. Every ticket purchased helps these programs continue to grow and touch lives across our community! Ticket link in bio :)

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the NCYC moms in our audience who support, encourage, and share in the joy of these beautiful young voices. 💐🎶

NCYC sang with all the “Colors of the Wind” on Saturday at Song Fest, and it was truly beautiful. 🌈✨

Their voices blended together like every color of the rainbow . . . bright, joyful, powerful, and full of heart. 💜

We are so proud of these singers for sharing their spirit, smiles, and music with everyone who came to celebrate!

The Aquidneck Singers have been joyfully preparing “Songbird” this week, letting the beauty of this gorgeous spring weather inspire every note.

With open hearts and voices full of energy, we’ve been singing with true gusto. We are embracing the warmth, the light, and the feeling of new beginnings that this season brings.

We can’t wait to share it all with you at Song Fest, tomorrow, Saturday, May 2nd at Portsmouth Middle School at 4:00 PM! The suggested donation is $20 per person, $40 per family.

Come celebrate music, community, and the spirit of spring with us. Let your heart take flight with our Songbirds. 🎶

Quorus was honored to sing “Rise Up” by Andra Day at the Salve Regina Lavender Honors Ceremony on Saturday 💜.

Together, their voices lifted in celebration of the graduates, honoring their strength, their stories, and the beauty of living authentically.

Moments like these remind us of the power of music to hold space, to connect, and to always, always rise.

As Aquidneck Singers prepares for Song Fest, we’ve been diving into “Lineage”, a piece that asks us to pause, listen, and remember.

With every note, we honor those who came before us… our ancestors, our stories, our roots.
Their strength lives in us, and through song, we lift their memory into the present.

You can feel it in the room… voices intertwining, hearts opening, a shared sense that we are part of something bigger than ourselves.

We sing not just for today, but for those who paved the way, and for those who will come after us.
