We are honored to receive a $5,000 grant from the Langley for Families Foundation in support of Postpartum Support Virginia’s maternal mental health services.
This funding will help PSVa strengthen and expand access to our Warmline, care coordination, peer support, and referral services for pregnant and postpartum families across the Hampton Roads. With Langley’s support, more families will be connected to compassionate, timely care when they need it most.

Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) do not happen in isolation — they impact relationships, family dynamics, and the transition into parenthood.

Join Postpartum Support Virginia for a one-day, 6-hour Advanced PMADs Training exploring the relational side of perinatal mental health through an emotion-focused and psychodynamic lens.

Participants will learn how to better understand and support families navigating:
✨ Division of labor challenges
✨ Parenting decisions and transitions
✨ Attachment patterns and relationship dynamics
✨ Communication barriers and conflict cycles
✨ Strengthening empathy, flexibility, and collaboration within families

This interactive virtual training is designed for mental health professionals, providers, and anyone looking to deepen their understanding of perinatal mental health and family relationships.

Participants are eligible to receive 6 NBCC/NASW Continuing Education Credits/Contact Hours.
