The Newport News Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 25 held their annual FOP Cops and Kids Christmas event at the Newport News Walmart at Jefferson Avenue and Mercury Blvd. Newport News Police and Sheriff’s Deputies got to help youngsters make Christmas special this year. Due to an overwhelming number of donations, we were able to allow each child to spend $250 for Christmas gifts. We were one of the 1st organizations to do this event and love to say that imitation is the highest form of flattery. N

For over 40 years, the Newport News Fraternal Order of Police has helped make Christmas a little brighter for those who are victims of crime or in need. This could not have been done with out the help and support of local businesses and individuals like you.

Please keep our Brothers and Sisters in the New River Valley of Virginia FOP Lodge 21. There lodge received serious folding and damage from Hurricane Helene. Moreover, many of there members are working to help others while their own homes are flooded and damaged.

Looks like we are going to get another storm. Be careful and stay inside if you can. 1st responders and Dominion power will be busy and you may lose power and access to and from your home. It may take time for them to respond. Give them a break and remember we are all in this together.

Morning everyone! I have an urgent job opportunity today if anyone is interested.

Innovage Pace located at 439 Oriana Rd. In Denbigh needs someone to assist with an armed security detail today. They prefer retired law-enforcement officers and will pay $35 an hour.
