Man's view of the world is selfish and focused on individual success. But what about God's?

God invited man to be co-rulers. He gave Adam dominion over the earth so they could rule together, but sin ruined that vision.

Obedience to God and submission to His will and heart are how we can see flourishing in this lifetime. When we put ourselves in the place of God and live selfishly, we distance ourselves from what God wants for us.

How will you put God's will above yours?

You can support others in a powerful way: Through prayer.

Prayer is one of the most underrated forms of support. You are speaking to the God of the universe, interceding on behalf of others, bringing their lives and spirits before God's throne. NEVER underestimate the power your prayer has on the lives of others. 🙌🏽

"Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working."

Light and dark. Good and bad. Hot and cold. What do these have in common? They can't coexist.

"If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth." - 1 John 1:6

In this verse, we are told that goodness and evil can't go together. They are complete opposites and have no relationship. You can't say you follow God and then do evil things.

The longer you allow yourself to live in sin and rebellion against God, the longer you will miss out on God's goodness in your life. If you want to see God's victory and live a flourishing, fulfilling life, turn from sin and walk with God in the light. 🙌🏾

Worship can't be confined to the church walls. It's a lifestyle. It's how you respond to the King who loves more than you deserve and moves in miraculous ways you can never understand.

It's serving someone else because God has blessed you abundantly.
It's doing chores to relieve your spouse's stress.
It's hugging a loved one who is going through a hard time.
It's testifying about how the Lord has made a way in your life.
It's encouraging your brothers and sisters to fight the good fight.
It's choosing to count others as more valuable than yourself.

Worship is how you live. How can you worship God in your daily life?

There's only one voice you need to be following, and it isn't your family's.

Your parents had a dream for your life.
Your siblings had an idea of the person you'd be.
Your grandparents had expectations of what you should do.

But only God's voice is the one you should listen to.

No matter what you do, do it for God and God alone. You were not put here to live up to your family's expectations of you. You weren't created so your parents could live vicariously through you. You were put here by the Lord of the universe to fulfill the plans and purposes He has for YOU! 🙌🏾

No matter what you do and where you go, do it WITH and FOR God. 🙏🏾

This week, instead of noticing what's wrong with other people, how about you notice what's changed in you?

It's really easy to make quick judgements and point fingers.

She stopped texting me.
He's too hard to deal with.
Why would she wear that?
How come he's so lazy?
She hurt me one too many times. I'm done.
He deserves what's coming to him.

But is that what the mind of Christ sounds like? No.

How can we become people of compassion? People who don't judge but stand beside those through their challenges. Individuals who welcome hardship and work through it with others. People who strive to love God, love others, and outdo one another in their love and service.

How has your heart changed?

Too many people walk through this life alone. They feel as though they have nowhere to belong. Don't go through this life by yourself; we're here for you.

No matter what hardships you've faced or burdens you feel like you're struggling to carry, you're welcome as you are here. Don't wait to belong, because you already do. 💙

Do you remember that God is willing and able to answer your prayers? 🙏🏾

When you pray, the Lord is hearing you and actively working out the answer. Even if it isn't the answer you were expecting, testifying of the ways God has answered you and moved in your life is uplifting not only for you, but for those who have prayed for you!
