The 2026 Laurel House 5K is scheduled to take place on June 13th beginning at 9:00 AM at Newark's Central Park and ending on the corner of East Ave and Church St. Runners and Walkers will be participating on this certified course that travels through the lovely village of Newark. We kindly request the cooperation and understanding of our neighbors and friends along the route as we come together to support Laurel House, a comfort care home dedicated to serving the residents of Wayne County and their families during their time of need. This community event welcomes your presence, whether as a participant or spectator, to cheer on our runners and walkers. Prior to the main event a Superhero Sprint will be held at 8:30 AM on East Ave between Church St and Williams St., featuring our youngest participants and Superheroes, in a fun-filled run. Registration reopens Friday, June 12th @ 5:00 OR you can Register "in person" at the New Registration Table in Newark's Central Park on Saturday Morning! The emphasis is on F-U-N with special treats and prizes for our youngest participants!
