Today, October 13, is the 251st birthday of the United States Navy. We will have a small celebration that includes cake and Navy Trivia starting at 7 p.m. Veterans and their families are welcome to join us!

A little history:
The U.S. Navy celebrates its birthday on October 13, which marks the establishment of a naval force by the Continental Congress in 1775 during the American Revolution. In 1972, Chief of Naval Operations Admiral Elmo R. Zumwalt officially recognized this date as the Navy's birthday.
