The first of our small grants recipients Birthright of Delaware provides education and programs to expecting mothers. With this small grant Birthright was able to assist a family in dire need with transitional housing. BTLF is proud to work with established community partners to meet emergency housing needs through our small grant program.

Still excited after last Thursday's Heroes for Peace Awards Ceremony. BTL Foundation was proud to partner with Moms Demand Action to celebrate 7th and 8th graders that took the time to identify in very well written essays the everyday heroes promoting peace in their communities!

It was inspiring to hear students articulating the many ways ordinary people do extraordinary things to spread love and acceptance each day!

BTL Foundation has partnered with Moms Demand Action to host an essay contest for 7th and 8th graders in New Castle County. Our goal is to give a platform for young people to talk about the people in their lives that are heroes promoting peace!

Submissions are due February 24th. Rules and submission form can be found at the link in the comments or by scanning the QR Code on the poster.

Please share this with a 7th or 8th grader, a parent, guardian, or an educator. Students have great stories to share and can win AMAZING prizes!
