I was able to join VFW Post 10818 members Dan (Post Commander), Dave , & Mark at lunch to welcome home two of our community members, Dan Shimon & Emma McVitty who just returned home from deployment in the Middle East. My friend Kathy, Emma's mom was also there. This was special to both Mark & I since we have known Emma her entire life. Kathy was the 1st friend I made when we moved here after Mark's retirement from the Air Force 33 years ago.
Welcome home & thank you for your service to both Dan & Emma.
