Meetings are on the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays, 9:15–11:30am (Sept–May), plus we offer yearly playdates, mom night outs, family events & more. Founded in 1991, we are a non-profit organization made up of over 30 local moms who come together to build connections, community, and friendships. We’re a diverse group with different stories, backgrounds, and experiences—but the journey of motherhood brings us together. Whether you’re a new mom, seasoned parent, or somewhere in between, you are welcome here just as you are. This is a safe, non-judgmental space where we support, encourage, and learn from one another. If you’re looking for connection, support, or simply a moment to be yourself (or rediscover who that is), you’ve found the right place. JOIN US FOR OUR MOMS GROUP MEETINGS! We meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month from 9:15-11:30 AM at the New Richmond Area Centre in the community rooms—and we’d love to have you join us! Each meeting is a little different. You might find a guest speaker, a fun make-and-take craft, games, group activities, or a community service project. No matter the topic, there’s always plenty of time to relax, chat, and connect with other moms. Snacks are provided, and children are always welcome. We also offer free childcare through Kids Cove, so you can enjoy some time to yourself if you choose. You’re welcome to arrive late or leave early—we understand that life with little ones can be unpredictable! These gatherings aren’t a requirement, but an open invitation—a chance to learn, grow, and build meaningful friendships at your own pace. We understand that attending our Tuesday morning meetings doesn’t work for everyone—and that’s okay! Being a part of the New Richmond Area Moms Group means so much more than just showing up on a certain day or time - It's about building a supportive community that fits your lifestyle. To help cover the cost of group activities and operations, we ask for an annual membership fee of $35, due each October (our membership year runs from September-August). These dues help us provide things like meeting supplies, snacks, event materials, and outreach efforts — plus, they allow us to offer exclusive discounts on select events throughout the year for Mommy & Me, Family Day, and Moms Night Out events. We believe every mom deserves community and support, regardless of financial circumstances. If the membership fee presents a hardship, scholarships are available — just reach out to our treasurer for a confidential application. For those joining mid-year, dues will be pro-rated accordingly. We invite all interested moms to attend up to two meetings or events for free before deciding to join. It’s a great way to get to know us and see if our group is a good fit for you!
