These are the days that make our work so special.

Hamilton's previous life experiences made him thoroughly uninterested in human interaction. He refused to be haltered and he didn't even let people touch him.

With an extreme amount of patience, love, and positive reinforcement, he's learning we're okay!

Today Hamilton chose to leave his hay net, walked over, put his head out and was happy to be haltered. It was up to him, and he wanted to go for his fresh grass field trip.

It's such a gift seeing him start to blossom ❤️

is a brand new program, we are rolling out our second session, May 17th! We are the only equine-assisted cancer support group in the area.
Created and facilitated by cancer survivor / thrivers! 💞
The idea is simple : cancer can be isolating, terrifying, boring, exhausting, weird and decidedly un-fun. This program is about hope and creating a place to step out of all that for a while and into something alive, grounding, beautiful and actually joyful.
No riding or writing experience needed! This is not a riding program, it’s all ground work.
Please share! Because cancer takes enough, this is about giving something back - with healing hooves, fresh air, and a little mud!
