🐾🎉 WOW!! WHAT AN AMAZING NIGHT AT BARK OUT B.I.N.G.O.!! 🎉🐾

What an incredible night filled with laughter, fun, generosity, and most importantly, LOVE for the dogs and cats of SPCA Suncoast! ❤️

Our 2nd Annual Bark Out B.I.N.G.O. was a HUGE success, and we couldn’t have done it without all of YOU!

🐾 To everyone who donated gift cards, raffle baskets, prizes, or sponsored a bingo ball — THANK YOU! Your generosity helped make this event such a success for the animals who depend on us.

Thank you to Elks Lodge 2284 for their hospitality. Debby you are an amazing caller and make the night that much more fun. Gloria and May, how sweet are both of you to donate your evenings pay back to the pets?! Melanie, thank you for all the help with raffles. You all are so kind and generous!

🐾 To everyone who came out, played bingo, bought raffle tickets, and supported our shelter — you truly made a difference!

🐾 One of the highlights of the evening was seeing so many familiar faces, including several families who have adopted from us over the years! Seeing our SPCA Suncoast family come together again means more than you know. ❤️

🐾 And a SPECIAL THANK YOU TO JOE, who won the 50/50 raffle and generously donated his winnings right back to our shelter!! What an incredibly kind gesture! ❤️

Nights like this remind us just how many amazing people are out there supporting our mission. Every dollar raised helps us continue providing food, shelter, medical care, and second chances to the dogs and cats who need us most.

🐻‍❄️❄️ THE POLAR BEAR CUBS ARE 5 WEEKS OLD!! ❄️🐻‍❄️

Can you believe it?! Our little Great Pyrenees mixes are officially 5 weeks old, and boy, are they GROWING!! ❤️🐾

These little fluffballs are getting bigger, stronger, sillier, and more adorable by the day! They are full of personality, curiosity, and just the right amount of mischief! Momma Elsa has certainly had her paws full! 🥰

We know so many of you have been following their journey from the very beginning, and we have been overwhelmed by the number of people asking when the cubs — and their beautiful momma Elsa — will be available for adoption. ❤️

We don’t have an exact date just yet, but we promise to keep everyone updated!

🐾 A few important things to know about adopting Elsa or one of her cubs:

❤️ We are NOT first come, first served. At SPCA Suncoast, our priority is finding the very best match for each animal and their future family.

🐾 We do have an adoption application process, and we do not accept applications in advance.

❤️ Once Elsa or the puppies become available, you are welcome to visit the shelter, meet whoever is available, and submit an adoption application during our open hours.

🐾 Not all puppies may become available at the same time. Each one will be evaluated individually to make sure they are ready for their next chapter.

❤️ Because of the overwhelming interest, we simply cannot personally call or reach out to everyone who has inquired. We ask that you please keep an eye on our page and our website, www.spcasuncoast.com, for updates and availability.

And finally, from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU. ❤️

This journey has been filled with some incredibly difficult moments, heartbreak, sleepless nights, and more worry than we ever imagined. But looking at these seven beautiful little survivors today reminds us why we do what we do.

Thank you for loving them from afar, cheering them on, sending positive thoughts, keeping them in your prayers, and supporting our team and Momma Elsa through it all.

These little cubs have an entire community rooting for them, and that is something pretty special. 🐻‍❄️❤️

Their story isn’t over. In fact, their next big adventure is just beginning!

🐻‍❄️❤️ THE POLAR BEAR CUBS OF SPCA SUNCOAST — AN UPDATE FROM OUR HEARTS! ❤️🐻‍❄️

We know it has been a little while since we’ve shared an update on our precious polar bear cubs. The truth is, this journey has been one of the most emotional, exhausting, and heartbreaking experiences our SPCA Suncoast family has faced. There have been so many moments of uncertainty, so many sleepless nights, so many prayers, and far too many tears.

Of the 14 beautiful babies Momma Elsa brought into this world, only 7 have survived. 💔 Seven precious little lives that have fought so hard to be here. Seven little miracles that remind us every single day why we do what we do.

And oh, how these little miracles are GROWING! 🥹❤️

This Saturday, our polar bear cubs turn 4 WEEKS OLD! 🎉🐾

Their eyes are fully open, and they are beginning to discover the big world around them! Their tiny teeth have broken through (Momma Elsa has definitely noticed! 😂), they are WALKING, wrestling with their siblings, and finding their voices!

And trust us… THEY HAVE A LOT TO SAY! 📣🐻‍❄️

They yell at us all day long, tumble over one another, give the sweetest little kisses, and absolutely LOVE human interaction. Their personalities are beginning to shine, and watching them discover life is something truly special.

And then there is our beautiful Momma Elsa. ❤️

Our sweet girl is starting to realize that seven growing babies with sharp little teeth are quite a handful! 🥺 She's probably dreaming of a quiet afternoon without seven hungry mouths demanding her attention. But just like every wonderful mom, she keeps showing up, loving them, nurturing them, and doing everything she can for her babies. She has been nothing short of amazing.

Next week, our growing cubs will begin trying small amounts of puppy food specially prepared for babies their age. They will still rely on Momma Elsa, but this is another exciting milestone in their journey!

We wish we could tell you this story has been all puppy kisses and happy moments. It hasn't. Losing seven of these precious babies has left a heartache that words simply cannot describe. Each one mattered. Each one was loved. And each one will always be remembered. 💔🌈

But when we look into the eyes of these seven little survivors, watch them wobble across their blankets, hear their tiny voices, and feel their little kisses, we cannot help but thank the Lord for every single one of them. 🙏❤️

Through all the heartbreak, there is HOPE. There is LOVE. And there are seven little reasons to keep smiling.

To everyone who has prayed, donated, shared our story, sent supplies, or simply kept Elsa and her babies in your thoughts — THANK YOU. Your kindness has carried us through some incredibly difficult days.

Our journey is far from over, and we continue to need your support. We have once again attached our Amazon Wishlist for anyone who would like to help provide for this growing family.

🐻‍❄️❤️ ELSA & HER POLAR BEAR CUBS UPDATE ❤️🐻‍❄️
It has been an emotional and exhausting week here at SPCA Suncoast.
We heartbreakingly lost 3 of Elsa’s puppies. 💔 It was a week of round-the-clock care, sleepless nights, constant monitoring, and several members of our team doing everything possible to give these babies the best chance.
Today, we are cautiously hopeful and praying that we have finally turned a corner. 🙏
Elsa and her 9 little bear cubs are growing stronger, getting bigger, and making progress every day. ❤️
And Elsa? She continues to be an absolutely incredible momma. The weather has even cooperated enough to give her some much-needed breaks outside, where she can stretch out in the shade and enjoy a nice breeze before heading back in to care for her babies.
The cubs are changing already! Some are starting to get little brown spots coming in, which has us all wondering… what in the world could they be mixed with?! 😂🐾
They are talkers.
They are dreamers.
They are movers.
And they are ridiculously adorable. 🥹🐻‍❄️
We also have some encouraging news from the rest of the shelter. We are hoping the kennel cough outbreak is finally slowing down, and most of our affected dogs are on the mend. Elsa is no longer coughing, which is especially wonderful news for her babies.
We cannot begin to express how much the prayers, messages, donations and support from our friends and community have meant to us through all of this. When we say we couldn’t do this without you, we truly mean it.
We still need your continued prayers and support as we get Elsa, her babies and the rest of our shelter family through this.
