On Monday, June 22, through Friday, June 26, Huntsville Utilities Electric Operations will begin the process of upgrading the capacity in portions of Northern Madison County, east of Highway 231/431 and north of Wi******er Road. This project will ensure capacity and reliability and help support load growth in the area.
To complete this work safely, electric service will need to be intermittently interrupted in certain areas each day during this week long infrastructure upgrade project.
On Monday (June 22), customers on these streets will be affected: Broken Branch Drive, Coastal Drive, Gerald Drive, Joe Quick Road, Mill Keys Road, Narrow Lane, Perdido Drive, Spring Tanner Road, Sweetwater Drive, and Tree Bark Trail. Work will begin at noon and be completed by 3:00pm.
