A Military Women's Community Center is the long-term vision for Invisible Warriors. A permanent place for connection, navigation, and recognition under one roof.

If you're in Huntsville on September 26, put this on your calendar.

Foundation 1781 is hosting their inaugural Charity Casino Night at Stone Event Center at Campus No. 805. 1920s theme. Blackjack, roulette, craps, slot machines. Dancing from 9 to 10. Doors open at 5, games run 6 to 9.

Tickets start at $50 and include $100 in play money, a drink ticket, and heavy hors d'oeuvres.

This organization supports veterans, military families, and community members in need. That's exactly the kind of ally work I want to see in this community. Go have fun and support something real while you're at it.

North Alabama runs on trained, cleared, disciplined talent. Women veterans are exactly that.

When a woman veteran disengages or leaves the area because nobody made a place for her to land, that's a direct loss to local employers and the community she'd have strengthened.

Supporting women veterans isn't charity to the region. It's how a defense town keeps its people. This is talent your workforce needs. We help it stay.

Four days. Ten women veterans. One place built just for them.

Beyond the Uniform is our fall retreat for women who served. September 24 to 27, 2026 at Grand Oak Retreat in Scottsboro, Alabama. Small-group sessions, quiet time to reflect, real rest, and the kind of camaraderie you don't have to explain.

We're taking 10 women veterans, and cost shouldn't be the thing that keeps a seat empty. Registration is complete with a $100 donation, and sponsors can cover a full seat.
