🇬🇹 Day 4 Update from Guatemala!

We kicked off the day with a couple of hours of soccer with the kids and adults, followed by a special devotion right there on the field. Smiles and good times all around! ⚽️🙌

After working up an appetite, we were treated to a delicious meal prepared by the amazing women of the village. 🍲❤️

Pastor Jorge then led a wonderful church service for the community before we packed up and headed out early to Lake Atitlán. 🌅

Tomorrow, we are taking a much-needed rest day by the lake to recharge. On Tuesday, we will head back to the village for our final day with the community.

🇬🇹 Day 3 Update: Immersion Day & Village Camping!

God is moving in powerful ways here in Guatemala. Today was packed with impact, connection, and celebration:

🩺 Medical & Dental Clinics:
We wrapped up our final clinic day! Our incredible nurses, pharmacy team, dentist, and dental assistant worked tirelessly to treat many patients, leaving a huge blessing on the community.

✉️ Sponsorship Joy:
We handed out most of the sponsorship bags today. The children's faces lit up with pure excitement as they opened gifts and letters from you! Thank you for the financial support, love, and prayers you pour into these kids.

🏡 Home Visits:
Our team visited families in their homes. Our nurse did a follow-up visit with Juana in Lo Conoa. Praise God, she is doing much better today!

🎭 Youth & Community:
We connected with the secondary students to encourage them and pray over them. Afterward, they blessed the whole village by performing a beautiful play about Paul's missionary journeys. (Check out the video on our page!)

🎂 A Night of Celebration:
We ended the day sharing a meal with our beautiful family in Chuluc and celebrated Pastor Jorge's 41st birthday with some cake! We are camping out in the village tonight.

🇬🇹 DAY 2 UPDATE: Chuluc, Guatemala! 🇬🇹

Our second day of ministry was packed with blessings, hard work, and deep connections. Here is what your prayers and support are accomplishing:

🎨 VBS Ministry
The kids had a blast with crafts and new worship songs today! They are working hard to memorize Philippians 4:6-7. A huge shoutout to Pastor Jorge, Sarah, and Claudia for doing an excellent job leading the children.

🩺 Medical & Dental Clinics
Both clinics opened today and stayed incredibly busy. It is a massive blessing to provide these critical, much-needed healthcare services to the community.

🔨 Construction Milestone
Amazing news—construction on the new kitchen wrapped up ahead of schedule! The team is pivoting tomorrow to start building a book storage room for the local school.

🙏 Home Visits & Prayer Requests
This afternoon, we visited several families in their homes to provide care and prayer:

Mierta: She is recovering well from a hysterectomy back in March. She is still experiencing some pain on one side—please pray for her complete healing.

Juana: Her two granddaughters were very worried about her and asked us to visit her home in La Canoa. She is 76 and in failing health. Please keep Juana and her family in your prayers.

David & Jesus: We successfully delivered insulin to them. Praise God, they are doing well and experiencing no diabetes complications!Thank you for standing with us in prayer.
