📍 WHERE: Perry County Cultural Arts Building (lower level)

Hello everyone! We are relaunching our Community Craft Exchange event! This event was originally scheduled to take place Aug. 11 but postponed due to local flooding. Our hearts and thoughts continue to be with those still coping with the situation. We hope this event can serve as a bright spot for kids and families, offering a shared inventory of art and craft supplies for our communities and future creative programming at the center!

How does this work?

✨ Donate supplies you no longer need.
✨ Browse and trade with others if you’d like.
✨ Any remaining donated materials will help stock our community art classes, making creativity more accessible for children, teens, and adults throughout Perry County.

If you have any of the following, feel free to bring them to the exchange to donate or swap!

• Paints, brushes, and canvases
• Drawing supplies
• Yarn, fabric, and sewing notions
• Scrapbooking and paper crafts
• Beads, jewelry-making supplies, and wire
• Clay and sculpting materials
• Glue, scissors, markers, colored pencils
• Craft kits, stamps, stencils, and more!

Whether you’re cleaning out your craft room or looking for inspiration, everyone is welcome! Together, we can reduce waste, share creativity, and help make the arts available to more people in our community. We look forward to seeing you there!

🚘 Parking available behind the center or on the street. Two handicap spaces are located in front of the center on South Main Street.

Last week Khloe Tussey had two amazing classes with us! One was faux stained glass and the other was a community service day where they made cards, blankets and toys for the Perry County Dog Shelter.

Join her this week for paper lanterns! Registration in comments.

Due to BOTH our upstairs and downstairs air conditioners being out of commission, our community art class this Friday with Khloe Tussey has been rescheduled to July 10! 🥵 Stay cool, everyone!
