🎨 🫟 Community Craft Exchange & Supply Drive 🫟 🎨

Calling all artists, crafters, makers, teachers, and creative neighbors!

Perry County Cultural Arts is launching a Community Craft Exchange to help build a shared inventory of art and craft supplies for future community classes and creative programs.

Have extra supplies collecting dust? We’d love to give them a second life!

We’re looking for donations of:
• Paints, brushes, and canvases
• Drawing supplies
• Yarn, fabric, and sewing notions
• Scrapbooking and paper crafts
• Beads, jewelry-making supplies, and wire
• Clay and sculpting materials
• Glue, scissors, markers, colored pencils
• Craft kits, stamps, stencils, and more!

How it works:
✨ Donate supplies you no longer need.
✨ Browse and trade with others if you’d like.
✨ Any remaining donated materials will help stock our community art classes, making creativity more accessible for children, teens, and adults throughout Perry County.

Whether you’re cleaning out your craft room or looking for inspiration, everyone is welcome!

Together, we can reduce waste, share creativity, and help make the arts available to more people in our community.

Last week Khloe Tussey had two amazing classes with us! One was faux stained glass and the other was a community service day where they made cards, blankets and toys for the Perry County Dog Shelter.

Due to BOTH our upstairs and downstairs air conditioners being out of commission, our community art class this Friday with Khloe Tussey has been rescheduled to July 10! 🥵 Stay cool, everyone!

Wow!! What a night! 🎭 🎨 💃

Even with a broken AC, we packed the PCCAC with more than 75 people (almost 100 when you include the students!) Our dancers and actors did such an incredible job. And the art displayed?! Amazing!

Thank you to every single person who helped, taught, directed, donated, contributed. We had a wonderful four weeks of arts immersion and I could not be happier with our finale event!

What a great way to show the community our building improvements and everything that the arts center has to offer!
