We wish you a delightful summer vacation! ☀️🏖️ With school now concluded and the sun shining brightly, we invite you to visit the library. 📚😊 You can select a book for your summer reading and enjoy a cool, comfortable environment. 📖❄️ Please note that the raffle drawing will take place next week. 🤞🎁 Raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20.

The library is open on:
Wednesdays from 1 PM to 7 PM. 🏛️🕒
Thursday: 10 AM–5 PM 🗓️⏰
Friday: 10 AM–4 PM 🗓️⏰
Saturday: 10 AM–1 PM 🗓️⏰
Sunday: Closed 😴🚫
Monday: 10 AM–5 PM 🗓️⏰

National Night Out will be held on August 4th, 2026, from 5 PM to 8 PM.
🗓️🌃 We are currently seeking vendors for this event. 🤝🎉 The cost for a table is $20. 💲
We extend an invitation to all crafters, businesses, and individuals representing any cause they wish to share with the community. 💖🌟

Come join the fun for New Durham's National Night Out!Setup a table (bring your own) and sell, promote, etc. Vendors can sell, have games, offer giveaways, etc.Tables will be setup around the perimeter of the field where the band will be playing.Proceeds benefit the Friends of the New Durham Public....

Friends of the Library are hosting a Spring/Summer 2026 Raffle Basket! 📚🥳🧺 Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20, with a value of over $300. 🌻🎟️💵 The tickets will be pulled on June 24th! 💰🎁

Earth Day is Wednesday, April 22

The Friends will be meeting at noon at the New Durham Public Library. If you've been wanting to get involved and help support the library more, please come and see what we are all about!
(We don't offer childcare, but children are welcome to play in the children's area while caregivers join the meeting, so don't let the kids stop you from coming).

Also on Wednesday from 3:30-5:00 p.m. we will be having a special Earth Day event!!! Come on down to the library to decorate a pot and plant some seeds!!! Suggested $5 donation per pot to help support the library. All funds donated to the Friends go directly towards supporting the New Durham Public Library.
