Our Chamber Director, Lyndsey Overby, IOM, MPR and Creative Director Mary attended the seventh annual Women Shaping Our Region event last Friday. It was a sold-out crowd of 825 at the DoubleTree in Cranberry.

Carl Marrara, executive director of the Pennsylvania Manufacturers' Association (PMA) and the chief lobbyist for Pennsylvania's manufacturers, is coming to Sharon!

Carl will headline the Lawrence Mercer Manufacturers Coalition (LMMC) Semi-Annual Membership & Community Meeting. He'll share PMA's legislative priorities, including the workforce development and education issues shaping Pennsylvania's future workforce. Many of these priorities align closely with the coalition's own policy agenda, making this a rare chance to see how the work happening in classrooms and training programs across Lawrence and Mercer counties connects to decisions made at the Capitol.

You'll also hear how LMMC is inspiring the next generation, building a skilled workforce, and expanding pre-apprenticeship and work-based learning pathways.

Manufacturers, educators, and community organizations are all welcome, members and non-members alike.
