also his life to God in November of 1992. In December 1993, he answered the call to preach the precious gospel of Jesus Christ. In his earlier years, he served as an Assistant Pastor of a local assembly, where he served diligently in covering the ministry in prayer, teaching Bible School, and assisting the pastor in disciplining the saints. Prophet Tracy Cooke spent many years traveling as an evangelist throughout North Carolina, bringing the truth of God’s Word back to the heart of His people. He has ministered on radio and on television programs such as It's Supernatural and Something More. Prophet Tracy Cooke is not only known for the power of the prophetic anointing that rests upon his ministry, but also for the ministry of signs, wonders, and miracles. He is the founder of the Elisha Training Center, a prophetic school. Prophet Tracy is one whom God has raised up out of the obscure place, to a platform that influences nations. Presently, he is ministering in revivals throughout the US and Globally.

Happy Father's Day.

This is my dad. A painter his whole life. Paint on his hands six days a week, a fishing rod in them whenever the work let him go, and a Bible open on the kitchen table at night.

He never preached a sermon. But when I was a young man, I heard him pray for me by name before sunup, and I have come to understand that everything God has done in my life came up out of that quiet room.

If a father or a mother ever prayed over you, give God thanks for them today. And if no one ever did, hear me: your Father in heaven has been praying you home Himself, and He has not stopped.

Nothing prayed over you was ever lost.

There is something I never told my father.

More than thirty years ago, before the sun came up, I walked through our kitchen and heard him praying in the front room. A painter's hands, folded over an open Bible, and my name in his mouth. He was asking God to do things in my life I had not thought to ask for myself.

I never told him I heard him. Not that morning. Not in all the years since.

This Sunday, on Father's Day, I am driving to his house to finally say it.

I wrote the whole story in today's letter, along with what the Lord showed me about the prayers in your own bloodline that have never been claimed. If you have a name you have been carrying, this weekend is for you.
