At 906 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles east of New Berlin to near Pandora to
near Westhoff. Movement was southwest at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Floresville, Poth, Stockdale, Kosciusko, Nixon, St. Hedwig,
Elmendorf, La Vernia, Falls City, Smiley, New Berlin, Pandora,
Calaveras Lake, Gillett, Cestohowa, Sutherland Springs, Canada Verde,
Ecleto, Helena, and Pana Maria.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

Our volunteers are out checking roadways, creek crossings etc. Have found trees in roadways in several spots so far. Travel is discouraged for a while. Downed trees have been cleared off woelke , single oak, fm 775 near stahl, and brietzke roads. There is a down tree 6400 blk fm 467 near road but not blocking. Single oak road at elm creek is closed due to high water.
