We CANNED the principal! 🥫😂

Blacksburg Middle School students filled principal Dr. J’s office with so many cans he couldn’t get through the door.
🥫 1,300 cans
⚖️ 1,020 lbs of food
📈 300 more cans than last year!

Every can went to Micah's Backpack to feed kids and families in our community 💚 Thanks to the Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation and every BMS student who showed up for their neighbors!

10 people. 1 moving truck. 100 feet. 🚚💨

This is what the Bay Area Truck Pull looks like from the rope. Every pull helped raise $41,500 for hunger relief, the equivalent of 166,000 meals for Bay Area communities.

On December 8, Metro Detroit teams of up to 10 will have 30 minutes to turn canned and boxed food into a creative masterpiece at the Motor City Build.

Awards are on the line. Bragging rights are on the line. And when the competition is over, nothing goes to waste.

Your team gets the competition, the glory, and an evening of food, drinks, and music.

Detroit gets the food. Every can and box is donated to help feed families across the region through Move For Hunger.

What does it take for 10 people to pull a moving truck 100 feet?

Turns out, strength isn't the whole story. 💪

At the fifth annual Bay Area Truck Pull, teams lined up alongside the USS Hornet to find out who could pull it fastest, and what it would take to get there.

The cereal wasn't the problem. The boxes were.

725 lbs of cereal was perfectly good to eat, but it couldn't go to stores.

It happens more often than you'd think. Food gets turned away for reasons that have nothing to do with the food itself, like a dented box, a misprinted label, or a pallet that doesn't meet retail standards.

Without another place to go, this food could have ended up in a landfill.

Stone Arch reached out with a simple question: "Where do we go with this?"
Through our network of food banks, we connected the load with Midwest Food Bank of Connecticut New England.

Good food, kept out of the landfill and on the table.

Our community of donors make it possible for us to say yes to rescues like these. This DAF Day, help us keep saying yes to good food.

Some of our most dedicated Move2 participants never logged a step themselves. 🐾

Throughout September, Graebel Companies, Inc. colleagues around the world took part in our 6th Annual Move2 Fight Hunger Challenge with Move For Hunger, and many brought their four-legged teammates along.

From neighborhood strolls to miles walked wherever they could, 204 participants, along with Mini-Movers and SupPAWters, came together to get moving and make a difference.

Together, the Graebel community:
👟 Took 40,997,420 steps (roughly 18,200 miles)
💙 Raised $5,800
🍽️ Provided 23,200 meals for people facing hunger

As for the SupPAWters? They handled the motivation, the companionship, and, apparently, the photo ops. 🐶

Thank you to everyone who walked, ran, biked, danced, gardened, donated, and cheered each other on.
Every step counts. Every meal matters. 💙

This week was a hole in one at the Jefferson Lehigh Valley Classic presented by Sodexo! 🏌️

Together with the Sodexo team, the Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation, and golfers and their families, we packed 750 snack kits. All of these kits will go directly to the kids in their community who need them the most.

Thank you to Sodexo, the , Jefferson Health, and everyone at the historic Lehigh Country Club for making space for service at this year's tournament. 💚

Think you can sink a putt and fight hunger at the same time? ⛳

Putt For Hunger is coming to WERC - Talent Everywhere Global 26 in Chicago, October 27–30.

Stop by the National Corporate Housing, Atlas Van Lines, and Suddath Moving & Storage booths to take your best shot on a mini-golf hole built entirely from nonperishable food. It's what happens when a little friendly competition meets a lot of good food.

When the conference wraps, every can and box on the course will be donated to a local food bank.

It's a pretty simple equation: take a shot, have some fun, and help move food where it's needed.
