Did you know that we are a not-for-profit (501c3) corporation? This means that all your contributions are tax-deductible. We are seeking support through grants, donations, and fund-raising events for the support of creating a vibrant community center in Bradley Beach, NJ. The Borough purchased the First Methodist Church at 319 LaReine Avenue with the intention of turning it into a community center. We will help support the planning and any necessary renovations, and the various Borough groups that will occupy this new community and cultural center.

Bradley Beach Proposed Community Center Update

Please take advantage of this exciting opportunity to really understand our options to preserve and enjoy an historic treasure, the Bradley Beach Community Center, formerly the Methodist Church!

Where: Borough Hall IN PERSON. There is no Zoom Option
When: Tuesday, Feb 22nd, at 6:30 PM. You may send written comments to [email protected]
What: Bradley Beach Council Meeting, to include:
1) Presentation of the results of a detailed architectural and engineering study of the church contracted by the Borough. This presentation will include different options for renovations.
2) Council to vote on a resolution requesting that T&M Engineers present specifications on proposed preliminary remediation services.

Also check out the Friends of Bradley Beach Community Center's website at www.friendsbbcc.org for updates and to learn more on how you can get involved in helping to revive this historic building into a public community center for all ages to enjoy.

This is an opportunity for our residents, visitors and community organizations to join together to create a community center that may provide a place where we can enjoy entertainment, art, games, sports and lots of other activities all year round, while honoring the history of our beach community.
