Meet Laura Burch, the dedicated coordinator of Bright Futures Neosho.

Laura’s “why” is rooted in the belief that the small things we do each day can make a meaningful difference in the lives of students.

“The small things that we do to help our students makes a difference in their daily lives. Our schools are a safe place for our students. Sometimes this is the only place they feel safe and loved. I want them to all know we are here to support them in whatever they may need to succeed while at school.”

Laura’s compassion and commitment help ensure students feel safe, supported, and cared for. Her work reminds us that when a community comes together to meet students’ needs, even the smallest acts of kindness can have a lasting impact.

Thank you, Laura, for being a steady champion for students and for helping create a school community where every child knows they are valued and loved. 💙🧡

Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their sacrifice reminds us of the strength, courage, and freedom we are blessed with every day. As we spend time with family and friends this Memorial Day, we pause to reflect with gratitude on those who made it possible.

From all of us at Neosho Bright Futures, thank you to the fallen heroes and the families who continue to carry their legacy. ❤️🤍💙

We are incredibly honored to share that Neosho Bright Futures was recognized as the “Friend of Education” by the Southwest Center for Educational Excellence and Neosho School District. 💙🧡

This recognition reflects the heart of our entire community and the incredible partnerships that make this work possible every single day.

“Laura Burch works to ensure every student has the basic resources needed to succeed, allowing teachers to focus fully on instruction. Building strong community partnerships, she helps provide school supplies, food, clothing, and hygiene items to students in need. By removing barriers related to everyday necessities, she supports improved student focus, engagement, and overall well-being. The collaborative effort she provides strengthens our district by meeting essential needs, supporting educators, and creating a learning environment where all students can thrive.”

We are deeply grateful to our schools, staff, volunteers, donors, businesses, and community partners who stand beside us in supporting Wildcat students. This award belongs to all of you. Thank you for believing that when we meet students’ basic needs, we help create brighter futures. 🐾
