501c3 charity that seeks to increase the quality of life for individuals of all abilities and their families through respite, community engagement, and equitable access to fun and meaningful activities. The mission of Gulf Coast ABLE is to increase the overall quality of life for individuals of all abilities and their families through respite, community engagement, and equitable access to fun and

meaningful activities. ABLE represents the core foundations of our service: Autonomy, Belonging, Love, and Experience which guide our work to meet each individual where they are in their walk of life. The mission of Gulf Coast ABLE Academy is to become a beacon in the community where families of children with different abilities come to be heard, understood, and accepted for their unique needs. With the guidance of a trained and loving team and through multi-sensory learning, play, and access to meaningful activities, ABLE kids learn at the pace that is right for them to accomplish everyday victories, no matter how big or small. We offer part day and full day private tutoring through Step-Up using the Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities (FES-UA). We utilize Learning Without Tears and Conscious Discipline to guide our classes for Pre-K and Kindergarten grade levels.

Through her kindness, encouragement, friendship, and unwavering support, Kalli has been a pillar in our community and someone who has touched the lives of so many. While we are incredibly sad to see her and her family move to Texas, we want to make sure she leaves knowing just how deeply loved and appreciated she is.

This summer will look a little different for us at ABLE. 💙

While we won’t have the space or capacity to offer summer camp in the same way we have since 2022, we’re excited to introduce something new to help bridge the gap…

✨ ABLE Adventures at Home ✨

This pilot program is designed for families of children ages 6+ with special needs who are looking for summer support. Our goal is to connect families with caring providers who are interested in working one-on-one in a home setting this summer.

✔️ Families can find personalized, flexible care
✔️ Providers can earn extra income while making a meaningful impact

If you’re interested in becoming a provider or if your family is seeking support, we’d love to hear from you! Availability will depend on the number of providers we’re able to match.

This one is extra special! When Amber, the Director of the Arc Gateway South Santa Rosa at the time, contacted me to see if a group could come and volunteer at my in-home program, I didn't even hesitate. What started as frequent visits in 2022 has turned in to an amazing friendship that I look forward to celebrating every Monday!

I am SOO excited about the performance they are putting on for Talent Under the Stars. Best believe I will share it with you after the show. ❤️
