Another mission with Battlefield to Backwoods Veteran Outdoors complete! We had over 20 veterans and their families out on the water yesterday. We had 15 shark rods with a smorgasbord of bait out. Ranging from yellowfin tuna to black drum and nothing was eaten! There were 3 different shark fishing teams out and nobody caught a single shark near us. Guess the shark gods weren’t having it lol

In the end, the goal was to bond with other vets and their family and that mission was accomplished! Cheers till next time. Yakkem !

Delayed posted…. Veterans Day fishing trip… it was a rough one! The surf was flat and the swells were suppose to be less than 1.5ft, however, that was not the case. Winds peek at 15-18mph and the swells got up to 4-5ft. Needless to say it was a short trip but we were able to land 2 kings, a bobo, a 4ft sandbar shark and went 0-1 on blackfin tuna. Till next time, fish-on and enjoy your Stealth mode.

Finally! The grass was gone, the weather was decent, the surf was kicking and sharks were biting! We went 3 for 6 on hook-ups but the highlight of the night was seeing a veteran light up from ear to ear when he jumped on shark for the first time. Good times!
