Y’all these wonderful kitties are still looking for their forever homes. They are spayed/neutered vaccinated negative for FIV/FeLV and best of all they like dogs.

This is a courtesy post for 2 dogs that are being rehomed after their owner passed away. These girls showed up one day to her home and she took them in and cared for them until she passed away.
Both girls are spayed. They should be the only pets in the home.
Girl Dog (that’s her name and a hound mix) is about 3 years old and mama to Sky who’s about 1 year old.
Girl Dog follows direction well but has a high prey drive.
Sky was born shortly after they arrived. She has blue eyes and would do well with structure and consistency.

This is Bootsie thanking everyone who came out yesterday to support us and PAWS yesterday. It was a great day to meet folks and enjoy great food!
It took lots of folks shopping preparing cooking setting up serving and cleaning up! Thank you!

Next Saturday April 11, 2026 11-2 we will be at Florosa Baptist Church with a few of our adoptable kitties. Come on out to meet us! There will be fried rice and spring roll plates for donations benefiting us along with PAWS.

I hope some of you find this helpful.. a peek inside elder ferret care , and Please don't turn away , and stay till the end, it was a good day !

One of the saddest thing that ferret owners have to face , if we are lucky ,and they make it to old age , is their geriatric ferret. Their young lives ooze with enthusiasm and they want for nothing but to be free to dance and delight us with their zest for life.
So when we see our once exuberant, dynamic, 4 legged heartbeats begin to slow down , and after but a few years are burdened with the typical maladies ,adrenal disease , insulinoma , and cataracts , we know that even with the treatments available , they are not curable ,and if those don’t take them, usually something else other than old age will.
Most ferrets just don’t age gracefully, something that no one tells you when you get one.
Here is a typical morning with Sammy , who has given us photo rights . Although Sammy is a bit messy , he still has his dignity , and would like to help other ferrants for what may lie ahead ... with love ..
