L&R Rescue

L&R Rescue L&R Rescue is a 501c3 non profit rescue located in Navarre,FL. L&R Rescue works to help those who are unable to help themselves. This is our mission.

Our goal is to help abandoned dogs find good, loving homes. Dogs who would otherwise most certainly be euthanized or subject to a life in extremely poor conditions, unloved and neglected. We team up with overcrowded shelters and financially deficit facilities to assist them in locating permanent, caring families, who will appreciate the unconditional love a rescued dog is able to give. We try very hard to keep the adoption process simple and match the right people with the right dogs.

Honey is settling into her foster home with former L&R alum Willow, who was saved from a kill shelter and adopted in 2024. Apparently, Willow has now taken on a new role as an official L&R mentor. 😂 She’s showing Honey the best couch spots, softest beds, and even sharing her toys.

And Honey seems pretty happy with her new teacher.

This SWEET girl is gentle, submissive, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. We’ve also learned that cuddling and snuggling are her absolute favorite things.

Honey is about 35 pounds and 8–12 months old. She’s truly special and deserves a forever home of her own. No more shelters for this girl.

Someone is going to be very lucky to have Honey in their life. We just need to find her that person.

And yes, Honey is currently accepting applications for a permanent spot on the couch. 🐾

PLEASE HELP US GET MIA SEEN! A SIMPLE LIKE AND ❤️ COMMENT TRULY HELPS!

We’re posting Mia again because the video we made for her didn’t get much attention. If you missed it, please check it out on our page and leave Mia some love.🙏

Mia is the sweetest dog you will ever meet. She loves attention so much, and it’s heartbreaking to watch because it’s almost like she can’t quite believe someone is being nice to her.💔

We saved Mia from euthanasia at a shelter in Clayton County, GA. She was starved, had recently had puppies, and her hair was falling out. Her little body showed just how badly she had been treated and how completely she had been used.

But Mia remains the kindest soul.

We knew her chances of making it out of that shelter were virtually zero unless we stepped in. So we did. Mia is safe now. But her story is not over.

We just want this post to reach more people because one of those people could be Mia’s person. If you can comment, like, or share we would appreciate it so much!

This dog has endured enough pain already. It’s her turn to know love. It’s her turn to be spoiled. It’s her turn to experience the kindness she so freely gives to everyone else.

Ever had a soul dog? Mia is one. ❤️

Two boys. Two lives that almost ended. One second chance. 💙😭
Brady and Axel were BOTH scheduled to die. Both were saved by L&R Rescue just in time. And now… look at them. 🥹🐾
Playing like long-lost best friends. Wrestling, chasing, loving life, completely unaware that they almost never got this chance.
I can’t imagine a world where these sweet boys didn’t make it out alive. 😭💔➡️💙
They were meant to be here. They were meant to meet. They were meant to PLAY. 🥹
Sweetest boys, biggest second chances.
And THIS is why rescue matters. 🐶🐶💙
Both boys are available for adoption at www.lnrrescue.com

Hi, frens… it’s me, Axel. 🥺💔

I’m just a little puppy and I don’t understand why nobody has asked about me yet. Don’t you want an adorable baby boy to love?!

I was supposed to be euthanized when I was only 4–5 months old, but my rescue friends saved me just in time. Now I’m safe and I get to play and be a puppy… but I really, really want a family of my own.

I promise I’ll be the goodest boy. 🥹❤️

Can you please like, comment and share for me? Maybe my person will see me!

🥝 Zero apps. Zero inquiries.

Kiwi was scheduled to be euthanized at a shelter in Clayton County, and thankfully we got her out just in time. ❤️

Now this sweet 2-year-old, 35 lb girl is still waiting. She is SO smart and eager to please. She already knows sit, shake and down and learns new things quickly. She’s playful, loving, loves toys and does great with other dogs.

Please help us get Kiwi seen. If you can’t adopt, a simple like and comment really helps.

Jetta is HOME. 🥹❤️

Monday mornings are always a little rough, so we hope our Monday adoption announcement makes yours a little better.

It’s hard to think about how different Jetta’s story could have been. She was blinded in one eye and ended up at a shelter with her last day quickly approaching. We saved her from euthanasia on her very last day.

And now look at her. ❤️

Her new family drove all the way from South Florida to bring her home. They saw Jetta for who she is and opened their hearts and home to her.

Please join us in thanking her family for choosing Jetta. We know she is so loved, and we are so thankful they found each other.

Happy life, sweet girl. You made it. 🥹🐾

💔 It’s hard to watch Axel playing like this and think about what almost happened to him.

This sweet boy was scheduled to be euthanized in a Georgia shelter at just 4–5 months old. Thankfully, we got him out just in time.

Now he’s safe, happy, and doing what a puppy should be doing—playing and enjoying life. ❤️

We just don’t want him spending any more of his puppyhood in rescue. He needs a family.

Please help Axel with a simple like, comment, or share. You never know who might see his face because of you.

And please remember to spay and neuter, adopt instead of shop, and speak up for dogs like Axel. This pet overpopulation crisis isn’t going to end without all of us doing our part.
