L&R Rescue L&R Rescue is a 501c3 non profit rescue located in Navarre,FL. L&R Rescue works to help those who are unable to help themselves. This is our mission.

Our goal is to help abandoned dogs find good, loving homes. Dogs who would otherwise most certainly be euthanized or subject to a life in extremely poor conditions, unloved and neglected. We team up with overcrowded shelters and financially deficit facilities to assist them in locating permanent, caring families, who will appreciate the unconditional love a rescued dog is able to give. We try very hard to keep the adoption process simple and match the right people with the right dogs.

Bongo is everything a puppy should be: playful, affectionate, curious, and full of love. 💙

This sweet boy was found wandering all alone, and no one ever came looking for him. Thankfully, those days are behind him. Now safe in rescue, Bongo is showing everyone what a wonderful companion he’ll be.

At just 3–4 months old, he loves playing with other dogs, enjoys a good cuddle, and does great in his crate.

Bongo is ready for a family to call his own. Could that be you?

While Bongo is safe, many other dogs are not. Every dog we are able to place in a loving home enables us to save another dog facing euthanasia in a shelter. We can’t do this without the support of our community.

Major is a 3½-year-old Shih Tzu/Maltese mix weighing less than 10 pounds. Despite having a rough start in life, this little guy has the sweetest personality and so much love to give.
Major is deaf, but you would hardly know it! He has adapted incredibly well and doesn't let it slow him down one bit. He is affectionate, loving, and happiest when he's close to his people. Major also gets along well with other dogs and enjoys making new friends.

Kenai and Bongo have been making the best of it while they wait for their forever homes. Their friendship has given them a playmate while they wait—but what they really need are families of their own.

Kenai is the calm, gentle boy who’s been overlooked for months, just waiting for someone to finally see him.

Bongo is the 3–4 month old puppy with a sweet, playful spirit who loves every dog he meets.

Both are affectionate, social, and ready for families of their own.
