Post 382! We are getting ready for Tuesday’s re grand opening of the lounge! Shane from Florida Metal Works killed it for us with all the refuse and knocking out some concrete work. The warehouse and the conference room is destroyed but the lounge is getting some upgrades. Come out on Tuesday. Aubrey is going slinging drinks behind the bar and The Dawghouse Food Truck will be out front slinging dawgs!

Alright Post 382. Since we are getting ready tentatively for our reopen on Tuesday. Our members Todd and Steph Marx wanted to do a fundraiser for our bldg at their house Saturday night. The details of the event are in the slide below. We would love to see you all there. If you can make it please do. It’s going to be a blast and this point in time. I’m sure we all need a small break!

URGENT and VERY IMPORTANT:

These are being accumulated so Santa Rosa County can determine what percentage of property received damages and the approximate dollar-figure total. These statistics will be reported to the governor's office to enable FEMA to make an official disaster declaration and determination.
This information has been verified with Santa Rosa County.

POST UPDATES: (Please note dates and date changes)

October 15th, 10am - 4pm, for those available, any and all help is needed to sort through the contents that were removed from the Post and load up the PODS in the back with all items that need to be kept.

October 16-17, 9am, again for those available, we will be painting the lounge and deep cleaning behind the bar. Need help taking items down from the walls and moving stuff around to be able to paint and clean. If you have any paint supplies (brushes, rollers, drop cloths) that you would be willing to donate, it would be appreciated.

October 19th, General Membership meeting in the lounge at 7pm.

October 20th, REOPENING OF THE LOUNGE and resume normal lounge operations, with Wii Bowling that evening.

October 24th, STEAK NIGHT has been rescheduled to October 24th, cutoff to order steaks will be October 22nd.

Thank you all for your patience as we work to bring back our Post better than it was.

Post 235 in Ft Walton Beach and Post 75 in Crestview will be distribution centers for those impacted by the storm. Once supplies start coming in from outside areas I will post here to let everyone know when they are available

While we are making progress on cleanup efforts and power restoration to our Post, we are not there yet. We will remain closed and all Post activities are canceled until further notice. We will post updates as we continue to work towards reopening.

Thank you to everyone that came out today and helping with the cleanup efforts. It was great to see our members and the community come together in these efforts.
