Have you registered to join our Virtual FunRun?!
 
Something really cool we are seeing some of the widows who have attended our Retreats do is invite their friends to run/walk/bike/paddle in honor of their husbands.
 
Hear from Jenny why she is FunRun-ing in honor of her husband Robert:

“This next weekend I’ll be celebrating my husband’s 46th birthday and second in heaven. One of his happiest times in life was when he was running. He ran multiple 1/2 marathons and one ultra-marathon over his running career. Last year to celebrate his first birthday in heaven I gathered some family to walk a 5k then have dinner at Olive Garden, one of his favorites.
 
Since that time I was introduced to Ashley and the Crowned for Ashes organization. When I saw that Ashley was celebrating the anniversary of CFA with a virtual 5k I knew that I wanted to honor Robert once again by walking a 5k and I’m even more excited to be able to support an organization that has done so much for me and my healing process.”

This September, October and November, we will welcome in two new groups of young widows and one returning group for fellowship, rest and healing alongside others who understand the journey they’re on. They will experience community in a Christ-centered environment and commit to walking alongside one another in the months & even years to come.
 
We are so expectant for the Lord to show up in big big ways.
