Today, 9/11/26, ‘We, the members of the Naugatuck Exchange Club, remember….. Twenty-five years ago, our world changed forever. Yet, out of the ashes of that dark day, an enduring resilience was born. We were bent, but we did not break. Today, we look back to honor the lives lost and the heroes who saved them, and we look forward with a fierce commitment to peace, strength, and community."We thank our first responders yesterday, today and tomorrow 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸……..

It’s a wrap… even the extreme heat didn’t keep our dedicated team of Exchange volunteers from greeting Festival participants , at the Town of Naugatuck’s America 250 celebratory festivities.. and distributing ‘America 250’ flags throughout the afternoon… 🇺🇸🎆🇺🇸

07/04/2026

Today the Town of Naugatuck will be celebrating America’s 250th birthday in style.. There will be a Flag Dedication ceremony( by the Veterans Council on the Green,( 4-5 PM) a picnic on the grounds of the Historical Society, a street festival on Church Street starting at 5. Many organizations will have a presence during this time , including the Naugatuck Exchange Club ( which will be handing out America 250 flags to those who stop by their tent). Also, an Exchange ‘America 250’ golf cart will be located around the green… and to conclude the celebrations of the day, a memorable fireworks display🎆🇺🇸🎆

The 4th of July is almost here, and with it America's 250th.
Here is a quiet idea for the long weekend. Somewhere between the cookout and the fireworks, find one hour to give back. That is the whole spirit of America's Block Party this year, neighbors turning a celebration into service.
For 115 years, that is what Exchange Club members have done in towns across the country. We believe a community gets better when the people in it decide to make it better.
Come do the work with us. Find a club near you, the link is in the comments.( shared from a National Exchange Club post)🇺🇸🇺🇸
