This kid knows how to smile through the storm. He made it to deliver the cupcakes for his team but we didn’t stay to participate. This week was a lot. Posion ivy, new ear tubes, and eight hour event for an appt at Boston Children’s on Thursday . And then full day of school Friday. Melt down and two hours of crying yesterday and today we barely made it through soccer I wasn’t pushing for baseball too. I feel like there are cement blocks sitting on my chest when I can’t help him. I just have to be here and tell him it’s okay. I feel like I hold my breath until the episode is over. You don’t know this life until you live it.

Took the boy to explore where mom’s love of the woods began. My dad knew what he was doing when he picked Newtown. I spent hours walking these woods.
