Naugatuck Valley Soup Kitchen It is our mission to fight food insecurity in our hometown by delivering free meals to those in need

NVSK delivers three meals a week, Monday, Wednesday & Friday mornings to our neighbors in need who live in the Borough of Naugatuck.

🚨 **WE NEED DRIVERS! 🚨**
And honestly… we’re desperate! ❤️

Naugatuck Valley Soup Kitchen is looking for **two volunteer drivers** to help us keep our meals moving to the people who count on us.

🍽️ **We have TWO openings:**
➡️ **Wednesdays only**
➡️ **Wednesdays & Fridays**

⏰ **Time:** 7:15 AM – approximately 8:30 AM
📍 **Location:** Naugatuck
🚗 **Same route each week** — so you’ll get to know the people you’re delivering to!

**What we're looking for:**
❤️ Someone who is **reliable** and shows up when they say they will
😄 Someone who is **fun to work with** — we like to laugh while we work!
🚘 Current driver's license & insured vehicle
💪 Able to lift up to 25 lbs
🪜 Able to walk up and down stairs
🚗 Comfortable getting in and out of your vehicle frequently

Your **vehicle use and gas are considered a donation to NVSK**.

This is a short morning commitment, but it makes a **BIG difference**. Every week, our volunteer drivers make sure freshly prepared meals get from our kitchen to the doorsteps of our neighbors who need them.

We have an amazing volunteer team — we just need a couple more people to help us keep the wheels turning! 🚗💨
