A good friend doesn’t just go out with you. They look out for you, respect your boundaries, and make sure you get home safely.

At Jane Doe No More, prevention starts with education, awareness, and creating communities where people look out for one another.

As students head back to campus, remind your friends: stay connected, trust your instincts, respect consent, and don’t leave anyone behind 💙

You’re allowed to say no. Even when everyone else says yes.

To the party. To the drink. To going somewhere you don’t want to go. To physical touch. To anything that makes you uncomfortable.

Consent should never come from pressure. And you never owe anyone a yes just because everyone around you seems to be giving one.

Your voice is yours to use openly and freely 💙

The first weeks of college bring a lot of change. They also mark the beginning of what’s known as the Red Zone.

From the start of the fall semester through Thanksgiving, sexual assaults on college campuses are reported at higher rates, with first-year students especially vulnerable.

Knowing this isn’t meant to create fear. It’s about awareness, conversations, and giving students the tools to recognize unsafe situations, trust their instincts, and look out for one another.

As students head back to campus, this is a conversation worth having.

Share this with your friends in college 💙

More than 1 in 4 female college students experience r**e or sexual assault involving physical force, violence, or incapacitation.*

As students return to campus, this statistic is an important reminder that conversations about college safety must include consent.

Consent must be freely and willingly given. Force, threats, pressure, or coercion are not consent. And when someone is incapacitated by alcohol or drugs, they cannot give consent.

Creating safer campuses starts with making sure students understand what consent looks like, respect one another’s boundaries, and look out for each other 💙

“I think it’s important to reach out to survivors.” — Vanessa

Supporting a survivor isn’t about having the perfect words.

Sometimes it’s as simple as asking, “How are you?”

Sometimes it’s asking what they need, respecting their boundaries, and reminding them they don’t have to face healing alone.

Every survivor’s journey is different. One of the most meaningful things we can do is create space for them to be heard, supported, and believed.

💙 Thank you, Vanesa, for reminding us that compassion starts with simply showing up.

The people who truly care about you shouldn’t make you question your value.

Healthy relationships are built on respect, trust, and kindness... not confusion, manipulation, or fear.

If someone consistently leaves you feeling small, unheard, or like you’re never enough, it’s worth paying attention to those feelings.

💙 You deserve relationships where you feel safe to be yourself.

We've all had moments where something didn't feel quite right.

Maybe you felt pressured to say yes.
Maybe your stomach tightened.
Maybe you couldn't explain it… you just knew something was off.

Those moments matter.

Learning to trust yourself isn't about living in fear. It's about slowing down, listening to your instincts, and giving yourself permission to honor them.

The more we practice trusting our inner voice, the easier it becomes to set healthy boundaries, recognize unhealthy situations, and make decisions that support our well-being.

Your intuition isn't something to ignore, it's something to strengthen.
