We are an organization which recognizes the importance families play in supporting their children’s education. Because of that, we ENGAGE, EMPOWER, and MOVE parents into ACTION in order to strengthen parent-school communication and help improve the academic success of our students. Our 27 years of service and track record demonstrate that we have an effective parent engagement model and through this work we are building better prepared students and a stronger tomorrow!

Yesterday, we celebrated 14 amazing parents at Lyndale Elementary in the Alum Rock Union Elementary School District as they completed PIQE’s Family Engagement Program! 🎉

Throughout the program, families explored ways to stay connected to their child’s education, strengthen communication with schools, and continue building a path toward future success. It was an evening filled with pride, growth, and community, and we’re excited to see the impact these families will continue to make both at home and in the classroom.

Celebrating a small but mighty graduation at Palm Elementary in the Cutler-Orosi Joint Unified School District.

Twelve dedicated moms completed the Family Engagement program, with some attending PIQE workshops for the fifth time and sharing that they learn something new every time.

Thank you to Principal Mrs. Yovanna Castillo, Community Schools Program Coordinator Maria Avila, keynote speaker Javier Gómez, and mom speakers Blanca Villanueva and Cinthya Torres for making this celebration meaningful. Congrats again to all the parents!

Congratulations to our students and families on completing their journey with PIQE! This celebration marks an important milestone for 71 student families who participated in family engagement programs, college fairs, financial aid workshops, and other college readiness opportunities designed to support their path toward higher education. We are proud to recognize the hard work, perseverance, and commitment of each student, as well as the dedication of the parents and caregivers who supported them every step of the way. A heartfelt thank you to Johansen High School and Vanguard Preparatory for your partnership and support, to Carnegie Corporation of New York for helping make this meaningful opportunity and the $1,000 student scholarships possible, and to Stanislaus State for hosting this special celebration on campus. Together, we are celebrating families, honoring student achievement, and investing in brighter futures.
