Juneteenth is a powerful reminder that freedom is both a historic milestone and an ongoing journey. On June 19, 1865, the final enforcement of emancipation reached enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas marking a moment of delayed justice, resilience, and hope that continues to shape our understanding of equity today.

As we reflect, we honor the past while recognizing the work still ahead to build a more just and inclusive future.

Did you know that going electric at home is more affordable now with the Base Services Charge? Recent bill changes decrease the cost you pay per kilowatt-hour of electricity by about 10%, and available rebates and incentives can help cover upgrades. Find out more at sce.com/electrification

This program is only for households that have Southern California Edison (SCE) as their electric utility provider. It does not apply to internet, water, gas, or other household services.

To check if Edison is your provider, look at your electric bill for “SCE” or “Southern California Edison,” review the Supply/Generation section, or visit sce.com to confirm service in your area.
