Tomorrow morning, between 8:300 and 12 Noon, we celebrate another of our monthly Creek Days at PCEP. If you have never visited the park before, you can come out to walk the trails, learn about the wetlands of National City, and VOLUNTEER, too. With the salt marsh habitat, we are currently restoring native plant areas around the amphitheater. It is a fun way to get some exercise, chat with supporters of Paradise Creek, and you may want to take part in the art activity planned. See you soon!
Cyanotype Pop-up at Paradise Creek Educational Park in National City this Saturday, August 31st, 9:30am-12pm.
The basics of cyanotypes will be covered. Participants can create their own nature prints, while reflecting on what we can do as individuals and collectively to promote planetary health. Select input will be incorporated into a larger October 11th-13th, 2024 installation at the center.
This is a Free event with no RSVP and will be happening in conjunction with the creek clean-up. We will print while supplies last!
*This program is made possible through the Art for Planetary Health initiative, an initiative led by the Fleet Science Center, and generously supported by the Prebys Foundation.
