🧩 Restoring Childhood Piece By Piece 🧩

Reunification is the ultimate victory in foster care because it represents healing, restoration, and the beautiful answer to a community’s shared prayers in helping renew a family's hope and future piece by piece. 🫂

In July, our Cook County Chapter served a mom who had worked very hard to get her children back. After completing her case plan successfully, she was reunified with both of her children, and we were so excited to celebrate with her.

🛌🏼She needed help securing beds and bedding for them to come home to, which we provided to her, along with clothing bags and journey bags that included Bibles. She was so thankful for everything. She continuously said that it was all the biggest blessing and the kids were so happy!

"Seeing how thankful she was, and talking with her about how hard she worked to be reunified with her children filled my heart with so much joy. This is one of the reasons I love this ministry. Jesus is so faithful to provide donors so that we can make these types of things happen for people. 👩🏼‍💻 We are partnering with Resound Trauma Education to bring virtual trauma trainings to our community for FREE! These trainings are great for everyone including teachers, church volunteers, people interested in foster care, foster families.....ANYONE! Also, foster families will be able to earn training hours for this program.

☕💗 Love on Caseworkers – Breakfast Edition! 💗☕

A huge THANK YOU to PhilipandStephanie Rowan for showing love to our caseworkers by providing a delicious breakfast! 🥐🍩

From breakfast casserole and donuts to muffins and cold coffee, she made sure our caseworkers had a wonderful start to their day! 🧡

We are so grateful for community members like Stephanie who go out of their way to encourage, support, and remind our caseworkers how much they are appreciated. Thank you for helping Called to Care love on those who work so hard to care for children and families in our community! 🫶
