Update: all babies are safe!

These babies are on the euthanasia list in Sumter county. They are 8 weeks old. Any fosters available to help us pull them? They would need to be fostered until big enough for spay/neuter surgery plus a week to heal. This can be done at 12 weeks. Email me at [email protected] to inquire about fostering these babies. They can all go to one foster or be split in half. There is a Friday deadline for them to be pulled from the shelter. 🩷

We have been contacted about a spayed 15 year old cat that is in need of a new home. The property she is on has been sold and she can’t remain there. We’re basically posting her as a courtesy to see if an immediate home can be found as a senior cat of this age going to an animal shelter or sanctuary is a death sentence. Being bombarded by new pathogens would ultimately end her life in a short period of time. So moving directly into a home would be of the greatest benefit to her. Let us know if you would be open to homing a beautiful old girl. Her name is Moon Shadow.

This bulldog was hit on hwy 125. She was x-rayed today and has a broken pelvis that may heal with 4-6 weeks of cage rest. She needs a really great dog foster willing to take her in for this duration. We’d like to give her a chance as we’ve seen these injuries heal with cage rest in the past. We are currently boarding her at the vet and so a decision has to be made soon! Please let us know if you can foster this bulldog mix. She is on the smaller side and is very sweet.

ABAC pre-vet club came out today for a super deep cleaning job on our walls, floors, cabinets and helped deworm all the cats. They are always a hard working group and do a great job helping the kitties. We are happy such a big group of future veterinarians came out to support our cause and receive volunteer hours they can use towards their education.
