Today, we remember CPT Joshua T. Byers and honor the extraordinary sacrifice he made in service to our country.
Joshua was killed on July 23, 2003, by an IED in Iraq while saving the lives of two of his soldiers. His courage and selflessness continue to inspire all who hear his story.

Operation Song had the privilege of writing with Joshua's mother, Mary Byers, who shared the incredible story of receiving Joshua's final letter home months after his death. Together with acclaimed songwriter Cindy Morgan, she transformed that deeply personal moment into a moving tribute titled "Love, JT."

At Operation Song, we believe every veteran's story deserves to be preserved. Joshua's story is one of courage, sacrifice, and a mother's enduring love.

What a great Independence Day weekend! 🇺🇲

We had a wonderful time celebrating with our Patriot Partners at The Nashville Distillery Grand Opening and Nashville’s Let Freedom Sing! celebration.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to learn more about Operation Song and our mission of bringing veterans and their families back, one song at a time.
